Boy-Wanda

So apparently gender-swaps are the new pink. Which, I'm sure you all know, is the new black. For the ~wandaclub's most recent contest, the theme of which, as you may have guessed, it to gender-swap our lovely Scarlet Witch.

So I did. While I was drawing this, I started to think about how very, very different the dynamics of the Magneto-Quicksilver-Scarlet Witch-Polaris family would be. Like-- SERIOUSLY. Even confined within the context of Evo, I sorta think that if Wanda had been a dude, and the Maximoff Twins had been brothers, Magneto probably wouldn't have locked Wanda up. After all-- boys have to be tough. Girls are hard to deal with, y'know.

Also- not that I've thought about this extensively or anything, but I've always sort of thought that the entire Silver-hair thing was a mutant trait attached to the Y chromosome. Hence my giving Boy!Wanda white hair.


Anywho. I'm still disenchanted with my colouring. Also, the alternative title for this drawing is "Screw You, Your Established Light Sources and Consistent Shadows." Because really. Workin' at putting backgrounds in on my pictures. I really, really, REALLY like my drawings more before I colour them, but they look so pathetic when they're not coloured >.<
