Soooo, here's my entry for the Stylized contest over at EoC. I toyed with doing Simpsons style, and then hyper realism, but after I saw a "How to Draw" style book on Disney princesses, I knew I had my style set for me. I'm a little disappointed, though. These poses came RIGHT out of the book. I might as well have traced them. I was hoping I could pick up the style and make my own positions, but.... ah well. This is what I get for forgetting the dates on my own contests.
I think only Wanda and Jean turned out very well, but that's me. Kitty's like "Aw hellz no!"
I actually scanned this directly from my pencil work, skipping my usual "inking" step. Not sure if it shows, but you can see how long graceful lines aren't my thing, looking at the front of Wanda and Jean's dresses. >_> Ah well. I took the dress colours from their basic Civvies. Also: Tabby's too tall. I tried to keep hight-proportions the same as from the show, but... live and learn.
I think Tabby turned out really well too. Even if she is too tall, she looks very Disneyish. Is she based on Ariel?
Kitty's expression is awesome.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
