Description

Fugh. Finally. I've been working on this thing since February. You know how sometimes you get something up your nose, and it just won't leave you alone? Well, here y'go. I meant to be finishing The Senses comic, but every time I sat down to work on that, I ended up working on this. Well, it's done now, so I can work on The Scenes... and the contest promos... and EE... And my video game... and moving... and birthday presents... *dead*

So. Here we have a smattering of my OTPs from various points in my life. LONG COMMENT IS LOOOOONG!

... all of the blue people are on the right. ... Huh.

Wanda and Kurt (The Scarlet Witch and Nightcrawler)
From X-men
Clearly, my favourite incarnation of this pairing would be the Evo versions... even though there is basically NO evidence for it in that incarnation *sigh* I always thought that this was a less-popular pairing, but recently I've seen some more fans of the pairing popping up... makes me happy. We do need to get our shit together, though, folks. It's KANDA. If you're gonna name smash, do it right. KANDA. No one will take us seriously as a pairing unless we can agree on what to call it. And I'm telling you. IT'S KANDA.

Babs and Buster Bunny (no relation)
From Tiny Toons Adventures
I think Tiny Toons was my first fandom. Like... ever. It was also about 1991, so a year or two before we were getting internet. That means, THANKFULLY, all the bad fanfiction and HORRIBLE fan art I did will never see the internet. Though I did snail mail my fanfictions to Steven Spielberg... because I was a special child, that's why. Anyway. I always LOVED Babs, and Buster was just cool... and the show was AWESOME about giving you episodes pairing the two up, without losing the flavour. I've very thoroughly lost the flavour for this pic, but considering it's the first time I've drawn them since probably1995, NOT SO BAD, AKSHULLY.

Logan and Ororo (Wolverine and Storm)
From X-men
I like this pairing. Really, It's hard for me to see Logan "settling down" with ANYONE, but if he were going to... for me, it'd be with Storm. Especially in Evo. In Evo, they're both acting as "parent" figures, and so matching them up isn't so much of a stretch. It's just one of those pairings that is nice and easy and calm- probably because the rest of their lives are so drastically insane. I likes it 6.6

Haruka and Michiru (Sailors Uranus and Neptune)
From Sailor Moon
Iiiiiiiiiiiii love these two. I don't usually use the phrase "OTP" seriously, but with these two? It's pretty crazily OTP. They were ment for each other, and, like Loro, it's just one of those calm things. With these two, though, it's calm more because there's no question about it. They love each other, they always have, and they always will. I like their maturity compared to the inner scouts (though I also love the inner senshi) and my favourite times with them are when they're making subtle(?) innuendos.

Jake and Nina (Fang and Screamqueen)
From Scare Tactics
Anyone? Anyone? Anyone other than me remember this comic? No? Oh.... ok then. Well. It was the fucking shit. Vampires, black helicopters, aliens, werewolves, evil scientists, Eldritch gods, zombies, serial killers, lizard people, and one seriously tricked out bus. Jake and Nina were... gah. Just. Love them both independently, and their violent love was just... love. The comic's been gone for YEARS, but Jake made a guest appearance in Young Justice once, and Screamqueen's apparently been rebooted for Batman Brave and the Bold... though I'm not entirely sure that's not just someone else entirely, and they're just re-using the name.

Batman and Catwoman (Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle)
From Batman
My first ever comic series (excepting Elf Quest which doesn't count) was the early 90's Catwoman series. Which was the fucking BOMB. Selina Kyle was AMAZING in that title. The stories were fantastic, the art was fantastic, the non-spoon-fed feeling of "girl-power" was awesome.
And Catwoman + Batman = zomgjustsomuchsex
I haven't so much followed her most recent reboot... It's cute, and I'm sure it's good, but for me? The purple catsuit is the only one I'll ever need.

Jessie and James
From Pokemon
Oh HELL yes, I'm a Rocketshipper. Pokemon was my 3rd fandom ever. It's the one I was in when I actually started getting into the interwebs, and why I named myself what I did. (What, you think I call myself "Rocket" just cuz they're cool?) I... Love this pairing. I love the comedy, the friendship, the abuse, the thievery. They're upfront and over the top, and as far as I'm concerned... if it weren't a children's show, they'd be screwing like... I dunno. What's a pokemon that fucks a lot? WELL ONE OF THEM.

Redd and Jay (The Queen of Hearts and the Jabberwocky)
From Halfway House
My only otp on the page involving OC's. They're both OC's from an OC universe, loosely based on Lewis Carrol's stories, though swerving pretty heavily into American McGee territory along the way. They are pure evil, manipulation, sex, and yes, love. I love them, so they're here, but you can just move along now ^_^;;

Harlan Band and Catalina
From Space Cases
My second fandom ever. Oh my oh my. I became obsessed with this show right around the time I learned to use my VCR to record TV shows. THANK GOD. Because it's pretty much GONE, as is EVERYTHING I EVER FALL IN LOVE WITH T^ T
For me, Cat and Harlan were a great fit. Plus! Canon! Or it would have been if Cat hadn't got exploded'ed (haha, spoiler. OR WAS IT? DUN DUN DUNNN). Watching these two compete for leadership, and grow closer made my elementary school heart leap and flip for joy. I love them. (also: THE BLACK RANGER AND KAYLEE (who, I will mention, was ship engineer on Space Cases YEARS BEFORE Firefly X3 ))

Lock and Shock
From The Nightmare Before Christmas
This is... an interesting pairing for me. If you think they're siblings, you can pretty much take off because I don't. There is no reason for Elfman to have written "cohorts" over "siblings" or "brothers" in the lyrics if "cohorts" wasn't the best fit for it. So suck it.
Er. Anyway. Yes. Not siblings! And an interesting pair because.. they're essentially children. They're children in the movie, they embody the spirit of children's mischief (among other things) and... yeah. Children. So it's hard to say why I ship them, other than... I do, and I always have, ever since I first saw the movie back in '93. It's not really a physical love- it's hard to see ANYONE from that movie doin' a physical love. But for me, the love- or the Halloween Town version of love- is defiantly there.

T.J. Wagner and Nate Grey (Nocturne and X-man
From X-men
Uhmmmmm... everyone's allowed one completely crack pairing. And this is mine. There is NO canon, ANYWHERE, that I've encountered that even suggests these two are aware of each other in even the vaguest sense, let alone that they should totally get together. Buuuut the idea of the wedding alone is enough to make me go into a coma of pure crack-addled joy. Can you imagine trying to find seating arrangements for Magneto, The Phoenix, Cyclops, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, Mystique, Azazel, Nightcrawler, Nightcrawler's adoptive parents, plus MORE, depending on what universe you're in? PURE. CRACK. I LOVE IT.

Bova and Rosie
From Space Cases
This is one I didn't really ship back in the day, but as the years go on, I ship it more and more and more. Opposites attract and all that, and these two are just... so good together. It's sweet and funny, and cute and I loves it o.o Simple.

LONG COMMENT IS LONG.
I shall spell check when I get home from work. YES I AM UPLOADING FROM WORK. I HAD SOME FREE TIME, SO SUE ME! o.o

EDIT: Spell check COMPLETED. I am ... a bad speller.

I think the Lock/Shock pairing just because I could imagine them eventually getting turned on when they wrestle and fight.

Also....thank you for pointing out the "Cohorts" thing. I always use that as a way to say that they aren't related.
