Kurt's hands are not melting in the second panel. Kitty is phasing through them. This effect usually looks better when it's more finished. I LOSE.
A note on phasing:
Much like drawing someone sitting in a bath, when Kitty phases, it shouldn't create a straight line. The shape of her own body combined with the shape of what she's phasing through make different levels of exposure. A straight line is fine for quick animation sequences, when it's only going to be seen for a fraction of second, but when you're drawing a still, one should really take the time to at least think about what would pop out where and how. </high horse>

WHYYYYYYYYY!?!?! WHYYYYYYY?!!? Love that last panel. Drama City. Population: 2. I love Kitty's expressions. Like, all of them. The first one so reluctant and the sort of revulsion in the 3rd panel. You do SUCH a nice job with the emotions here and I really love that you use Kitty's powers. She truly is INCREDIBLY hard to keep hold of, especially physically but emotionally as well it seems. A really nice symbolic moment there.
