Putting things on a pedestal

I actually drew this about a week before I moved, some 3 odd months ago. I really want to do SOMETHING with it, but I I'm not entirely sure what. So for now, I'm practicing getting back into my groove-thang with traditional media. I like colouring, I really do. I'm just no good at it.

But practice makes perfect.

In contrast to the pictures I was colouring before, I tried a new technique for this: I started with the shadows and worked my way into the highlights. An interesting effect, one which warrants further investigation, I think >.9

In other news this is about the gayest looking Pietro I've ever draw. *sigh* -_-;;
